UNIDAD IV (MARCADORES DE DEFINICIÓN Y DE TIEMPO)

THE LARGEST IN HISTORY ACCOUNT

It is possible that the worst global crisis since the 1930s is starting to disappear. But another storm looms on the horizon financial: huge public debt. In the rich world Governments depend increasingly lending, because revenues have declined and spending has increased. The figures provided by IMF economists suggeest that public debt of  the ten richest countries will be 78% of GDP in 2007 to 114% in 2014. These governments then adeudaran near of us $50 billion by each citizen. Since World War II were not so many Governments asking for money lent at similar speed. In addition, debt today will not be temporary as generated in times of war. Even after the recession ends, some of the rich countries will only have budgets able to stop the increase in debt. And worse still, all this happening when the budget has been more affected by the increase in the costs of  pensions and benefits of an ageing population. In fact, one third of the population of rich countries will have more than 60 years of age by 2050.

This alarming picture puts lawmakers in a very difficult situation. Short term it is vital that the Government asks provided to ease the crisis. In the absence of a financial aid program, the crisis would have been a disaster. And in the absence of a stimulus, the global  recession would have been deeper and more lasting. But in the long run fiscal laxity of  these moments will not be viable. Most needy Governments displace private investment and economic growth stagnate. More alarming is still enormous public debt will force Governments to comply with the payment of the same or to reduce inflationary measures. What should Governments do? In general terms, they should cut spending rather than increasing taxes if they want to clean up public finances. But nothing will be as effective as taking tough decisions immediately. A priority is to raise the retirement age. This will increase tax revenues (people work more time) and reducing future pension costs.

MARCADORES DE TIEMPO

MARCADORES DE DEFINICIÓN

ESTA UNIDAD PARA MI FUE LA MAS FACIL, DEBIDO A QUE SOLO SE TUVO QUE IDENTIFICAR LOS MARCADORES DE DEFINICION Y LOS MARCADORES DE TIEMPO, AMBOS FUERON FACIL DE ENCONTRAR,  YA QUE  LOS DE DEFINICIÓN SE ENCONTRABA LA PALABRA Y DE UNA VEZ LA DEFINICIÓN Y  LOS DE TEXTO SE PODIAN IDENTIFICAR CON UNA FECHA.
